Design education
can cover a wide range of disciplines from graphic design to industrial
design to all of the "environmental" design disciplines such as
architecture. While specific advanced course content can vary widely, the
foundation courses can be very similar. For example, most require some graphic
drawing courses and courses in design principles. For the purposes of this
assignment, since the courses in my specific discipline were limited, I
investigated parallel courses in graphic design and other related design
disciplines.
